If India do make it to the semi-finals, they will play at home, i.e. in Mohali on 30th March. So you might well be right about the teams, but you need to switch the dates.

Yes, you’re right. Will fix it in the next iteration.

As is Australia. Another reason why my views should be seriously discounted. 🙂

How does it feel? You are almost always wrong in predicting future of politics and sports!

Meh. I am a professional economist. Getting forecasts wrong is practically my job description. The question to ask is, why am I taken seriously? 🙂

Well, if Sri Lanka wins the world cup, we’ll give you some credit. It’s like the black box of the firm – economists don’t understand what goes on inside but are (somewhat) accurate at predicting final outcomes.

hehe… actually no one takes you seriously anymore. But, unlike rest of the UV bloggers your writing is simply orgasmic. Also, some of us have mega crush on you! LOL

DS, I am definitely going for SL on Saturday.

Raihan, just as well that I am not taken seriously. I am thinking of leaving all the serious stuff to other UV bloggers and concentrating on a new motto: হিন্দু না মুসলিম, পুরব না পশ্চিম, মাজহাব হায় আপনি হাসনা হাসানা.

I’m torn for the final to be honest. I want both Murali and Tendulkar to go out on highs. I thought they’ve been great role models for subcontinentals – over-achievers with great modesty. Perhaps why neither really made a good captain, not that Murali had much of a chance.

I did, against both Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Good! Then I don’t have to go to UV to read your articles and get really DISAPPOINTED with “wanna be JRs”. Is it really happening or Hasina/Sonia style politics?

    Write a fiction, bhai!
Politics is madness! We Bengalis need some comedies.
