সাতকাহন

Seven trashes collected by the senses.

– The first is usually the best, as in this case.

– I cannot overstate the pleasure to see intelligent Bengali bloggers reading ‘গুরুদেব’ Smith.  If only more Bengalis (from either side of the border) read Smith as much as Marx and Lenin.

–  Bangladesh’s History Wars — a primer

– The next Indian PM?

Manto’s Pakistan — the stories are among the most depressing things I’ve ever read.

– The peacekeeprs — but are they blessed?

Too much of Marx is a problem among Bengali population😦. I can’t agree more on that …

I don’t have any problem with reading Marx a lot. But Marx was a classical economist following the footsteps of Smith, Malthus and Ricardo. The problem I have with (some) Bengali intellectuals is that they regurgigate Marx without reading any of the classical economists.
